Thank you for reading and sharing your commentary. With all the praise heaped upon it, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, deserves every accolade as far as superhero films are concerned. The majority of animated films have to go through such an extensive creation and story boarding process that you have to hit those nuances of visual storytelling at the very least.
The only other comic book film I’d highly recommend is: Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. The two films I mentioned had fun with their world and characters, and were actually doing heavy lifting in the writing department when it comes to serious/adult situations. Highly recommend giving both a watch!
